Sometimes you don't get to traverse the path that you expect. Rather a new path is paved that you can't see from the bottom but the turn becomes clear when you approach the intersection. Occasionally, you may grab for another spot in the direction you thought you were gonna go, but He’s right there waiting for you, to redirect your hand.
As we understand in the Word, if we have the faith of a mustard seed we can speak to the mountain to tell it to move, and it will throw itself down. But some mountains aren't meant to come down, and for whatever God’s reasons, we must traverse them instead.
I feel like my life has been lived in the Andes, when you're up that high you forget that every hill is the crest of a greater mountain. While my life has been hurdles of difficulties, it has also been peaks of blessings. When you reach the top of a mountain there's a special something that happens, that gives you an essence of faith in strength that you didn't even know could happen. A new reach of faith to stand upon, that you didn’t have before.
It's those continuous victories as you watched the hand of the Master guide your path and make provision, that make the next mountain that much more sure. It's a developed faith through the process of watching God in action that builds true maturity in faith. So no longer is it about what the mountain looks like, it's all about who you're traversing it with.
